Beating the Averages

Although I already read the article a couple months ago, I read it again for the sake of reading it with another eyes, and for my surprise it was a little bit of both, let’s start by saying that article is about how the author and a companion started a web company with their knowledge of the programming language of Lisp, this gave them the advantage that they could developed programs more quickly and efficiently, so they always be at the forefront in the business.

As someone who knows a little about the language of Lisp, I wonder how the programs that they wrote differ from the programs that the others do in their own respective languages and how Lisp gave them the upper hand in their work, I can already see how it can be developed the samethings more quickly, but the things I know are so simple things that I can’t imagine programs more bigger and more complex. I hope that when I finish the course I would be able to imagine that kind of programs or even do them, who knows.

Also for reading it again, this time it gives me the courage to learning with all my guts the language, ‘cause again it explains the great potencial of the language of Lisp, although I hope that I don’t end hating it, I really do hope to love this language, because I already like it, for real, I like how it’s something unusual, and what I mean with that is that I see it somewhat elegant although the bunch of parentesis that it uses, I see it a little more clean.

In conclusion reading this article for second time give me some memories of me wanting to really learn the language, even with almost anyone using it in this days.
